On Saturday, 5 May 2018, Xcidic held an event called Xcelerate Series #1 in Campaign Hub #ForChangeID. The name Xcelerate itself is derived from the word "Accelerate"; which is a startup incubation program from Xcidic. The theme “Why Am I An Entrepreneur in College?” was inspired by the enthusiasm of fresh graduates and college students in relation to starting a digital startup in college.

The main focus of Xcelerate Series #1 was to inspire and introduce the students to digital startups. Furthermore, we also invited some representatives of venture capitals and startup incubator so

The event, which were attended by 56 college students from various universities, was successfully carried out from 9 am until 12 pm. BTF Ventures (Xcidic's Venture Capital partner), Binus Incubator also attended the event. It was safe to say that our event was successful (the exceeded amount of participants, the enthusiasm, etc). Beyond that, the most important thing was the amount of insights gathered to assist the curiosity of the participants. We were grateful to those who had come and helped making it come true.
